Game Designer (Senior Level)

Requirements:

• Experience: At least 4 years in an equivalent role. Deep involvement in a released product that performed well is a strong advantage.
• Deep Understanding of Games: Able to analyse the design, goals and principles behind game systems. Have a broad range of game references, with the judgement to find and pick the right ones, draw useful insights and apply them to design decisions.
• Game Market Awareness: Keep a close eye on new trends and spot shifts in player needs, expectations and quality standards.
• Design Decision-Making & Ownership: Able to own a feature or system through its full cycle — design, production coordination, playtesting, iteration and final polish.
• Product Thinking & High Standards: Able to see each design within the overall player experience and balance player needs, product quality, production resources and commercial goals.
• Communication & Teamwork: Able to communicate design clearly, work well with other teams, take feedback and push back on ideas constructively.
• Application Note: Please provide screenshots of your Steam Library and playtime, or equivalent information from another platform. Please make sure your screenshots clearly show hours played, as in the example.

Responsibilities:

• Take part in the research, design and development of gameplay, mechanics and systems across our projects.
• Create GDDs, flows, wireframes, balancing and other documentation needed to communicate design clearly across teams.
• Work with Developers, Artists and other relevant teams to turn design ideas into features that work in the actual product.
• Playtest, review and iterate to improve the quality of the player experience.
• Research the market and similar titles to find references, insights and opportunities to improve the product.

• Leadership: Support and guide other Game Designers, and lead a workstream or area of design as the project and team grow.
• English: Read English fluently.
