Nexar Games is looking for passionate Senior 2D Game Artists to help create visually impressive products for mobile games. We especially value people with ambitious career goals and the drive to turn them into reality.

At Nexar, our culture is “Talent feeds talent”. We work like a professional sports team, where everyone pulls together to get the best possible result. We take our work seriously, hold every role to a high standard and push towards shared success.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 1 year in an equivalent role and experience working on a finished game.
  • Art Foundations & Technical Skills: Strong understanding of anatomy, perspective, composition, lighting, colour systems and value. Able to handle a wide range of art styles at an advanced level. Work should show a high level of finish.
  • Versatility: Willing to work across multiple stages of production (Concept, UI, Store Listing and more).
  • Thinking & Soft Skills: Logical, systematic, detail-oriented and adaptable. Proactive in spotting problems and proposing solutions. Able to communicate, defend ideas and give constructive feedback.
  • AI Tools: Have hands-on experience integrating AI into your workflow, an innovative mindset, but art fundamentals solid enough that the tools work for you, not the other way round.

Responsibilities:

  • Visual Direction & Design: Set the quality bar and keep art style, colour, lighting and visual identity consistent across the project.
  • Analysis & Proposals: Work with the Product and Game Design teams to analyse briefs, gameplay and market benchmarks, then propose the strongest visual approach.
  • Quality Control: Review other artists' work and give feedback that keeps the bar high.
  • Pipeline Optimisation: Build guidelines, checklists and file/export standards. Work directly with Animators, Developers, Game Designers and others to keep production running smoothly.
  • Mentoring: Support and guide Middle and Junior Artists, and share what you know, helping raise the team’s capabilities in the spirit of “Talent feeds talent”.

How You'll Grow:

At Nexar Games, we focus on building a team with a mindset of continuous growth. A Senior 2D Game Artist is not only someone who creates beautiful assets, but also someone who can maintain and raise the visual bar and solve art-related challenges together with the team. The capabilities below are designed to help you clearly understand the knowledge and skills you should continue developing throughout your journey with the company.

Please consider whether you are ready to grow in the following areas:

  • Elevating Visual Quality: Keep up with market trends and benchmark against competitors to propose bold art styles for new game genres.
  • Optimising Production: Apply new technology to expand your range and raise product quality.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Work with relevant teams, take the lead on planning and carrying out your work, think logically and solve problems.

Benefits:

  • An autonomous work culture with flexibility in leave and working hours. What matters to us is responsibility and results.
  • A dynamic environment that supports sustainable career growth and helps you strengthen your professional capabilities.
  • Experienced buddies and mentors who are always ready to support and work alongside you.
  • Salary offer of $1,000 - $1,500, based on your knowledge, experience and development potential.
  • Unlimited bonuses that are not directly tied to your knowledge or experience. They depend on your performance and your contribution to creating value for the company.
